5 Snacks You Will Crave

If you want to cook along with us, today's recipes include:

Honey Butter Popcorn

Shopping List:

  • 1 bag Microwave Popcorn
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1 stick Butter

Directions:

  • Follow directions on microwave popcorn, set aside
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and honey together
  • Pour mixture evenly over popcorn and mix together
  • Serve

Popcorn Balls with M&Ms

Shopping List:

  • 1 bag Microwave Popcorn
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 (10 oz) bag small Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Mini-Pretzels
  • 1 cup Mini M&Ms

Directions:

  • Follow directions on microwave popcorn, set aside
  • In a large pot, melt the butter on low
  • Add marshmallows and stir until melted
  • Add pretzels, combine
  • Let cool until you can touch and shape into balls
  • Roll in a bowl of M&Ms
  • Serve

**If the popcorn is sticking to your hands, spray your hands with non-stick spray.

Maple Cinnamon Pecans

Shopping List:

  • 4 cups Pecans
  • 2/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Cinnamon/Sugar mixture

Directions:

  • In saucepan, combine pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon & salt
  • Heat on medium heat for 6-8 minutes
  • Spread on parchment paper to cool
  • Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture on t op

Apple Cookies

Shopping List:

  • 1 Apple
  • 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips

Directions:

  • Core apple and cut into slices
  • Spread peanut butter on apple
  • Add almonds, coconut and chocolate chips

Crockpot Trail Mix

Shopping List:

  • 3 cups Cheerios
  • 4 cups Rice Chex
  • 4 cups Wheat Chex
  • 5 cups Cheese Itz
  • 5 cups Pretzel Sticks
  • 3 sticks Unsalted Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder

Directions:

  • Put Cheerios, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, Cheese Itz and Pretzel Sticks in crockpot and mix completely
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and whisk in the garlic salt, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce
  • Pour over crockpot mixture and mix completely (make sure all of the snacks are covered)
  • Set on high for 1 hour, mixing every 15 minutes
  • Let cool and store in Ziploc bag or container.
