5 Breakfasts That Will Make You Love Mornings

Don’t you love a good dip?  We do and today we are showing you 5 Craveable Dips you won’t be able to put down.  Join us for another amazing Family Food Live with Holly & Chris!  today at 12 Noon CST on the Quirky Momma Facebook page.

5 Craveable Dips

Holly’s Easy Guac That You Can Live On

Shopping List:

  • 1 Avocado
  • 2 Limes
  • Pico de Gallo – (diced onions, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes, cilantro)
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • Tortilla Chips

Instructions:

  • Seed, dice and remove Avocado from peel
  • In a mixing bowl, partially mash the Avocado while adding lime juice
  • Add Pico de Gallo
  • Season with salt & pepper
  • Serve with Tortilla Chips

Corn Dip

Shopping List:

  • 15 oz Yellow and White corn (1 can), drained
  • 2 – 11 oz cans Southwest Corn, drained
  • 2 cups Shredded Mexican Cheese
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • Green Onions, chopped
  • Tortilla Chips

Instructions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayo and cheese
  • Add corn and mix together
  • Serve cold or heat up in the microwave for 5 minutes
  • Serve with Tortilla Chips

Taco Dip

Shopping List:

  • 1 package of Taco Seasoning
  • Sour Cream, 16 oz. container
  • Shredded Mexican Cheese
  • Tortilla Chips

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and taco seasoning
  • Stir until all seasoning is mixed into sour cream
  • Add shredded cheese and mix
  • Put in refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes to combine flavors
  • Serve with Tortilla Chips

Yogurt Cucumber Dip

 

Shopping List:

  • 1 1/2 cups Plain Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 English Cucumber, peeled and shredded
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh Dill
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Pita Bread, cut into bite size pieces

Instructions:

  • Peel and shred cucumber (making sure you don’t get any seeds)
  • In a large bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, garlic, fresh Dill, and lemon juice, stir in cucumber
  • Allow dip to blend for at least 30 minutes before serving
  • Serve with pita bread

Chocolate Brownie Dip

 

Shopping List:

  • 8 oz package Cream Cheese, softened
  • 4 tablespoons Butter, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 5 tablespoons Flour
  • 5 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons Milk
  • Items for dipping

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter with hand mixer
  • Add powdered sugar while continuing to mix
  • Add flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, vanilla and milk
  • Serve cold with pretzels, graham crackers, strawberries, vanilla wafers
