Our Fun With Letters series has been an exciting part of the day for our little learners. Let’s continue the fun learning with the letter H and the Hippo we will make out of it.
We love making letter crafts that are also fun to play with. And this Hippo one is a perfect example.
Something about the bright purple color and the red tongue makes kids fall in love with this letter H craft.
Supplies needed for your letter H craft
- Letter H cut out from purple construction paper
- Hippo head (cut out from the purple paper)
- 2 small white color square pieces
- 2 black pompoms
- 2 googly eyes
- red construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
Instructions
Cut out letter H and glue it on white construction paper.
Glue on hippo head on top of the letter. Make sure to glue only the top part. Leave the bottom unglued so it can be lifted.
Glue on googly eyes and both pompoms (as a nose) on hippo’s face.
Glue on red half circle right under the hippo’s face so only little bit is visible under. Glue the white square pieces next to it. They will be hippo’s teeth.
Your hippo letter H craft is done!
Watch a short video of how our H for Hippo craft was done. It turned out super cute!
