Health Affairs is planning to publish a group of papers on the quality of health care in India, which will present research and issues related to policies involved in improving the delivery of health services in that country.
Among other topics, we are interested in work that explores current efforts to improve quality of care that include measuring quality of care, policies and programs aimed at improving quality of care, and challenges in improving quality of care in the public and private sectors.
We invite all interested authors to submit abstracts for consideration for this issue. Abstracts must be submitted by 11:59PM EST, February 8, 2016. If you wish to submit an abstract, please send it as an e-mail attachment to HealthAffairs_India_abstracts@projecthope.org
We plan to publish five to seven peer-reviewed articles in the last quarter of 2016 from leading researchers and scholars, analysts, industry experts, and health and health care stakeholders. We will consider research, analyses, and commentaries. We will consider overview papers that frame key issues for our readers, but we are primarily interested in empirical analyses of specific policies, programs, and practices that relate to improving health care in India.
More information on topics and themes for this issue, as well as process guidelines and timetables, is available in the request for abstracts on the Health Affairs website. Please consult our online abstract submission guidelines for additional formatting instructions and answers to frequently asked questions.
If you have questions about this request, please email India_quality_queries@healthaffairs.org. We thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to pass this invitation along to colleagues who might be interested, as well.
