After a really dry winter I am so thankful for this awesome lip scrub recipe. My lips have been really chapped and just like the rest of my skin, the first step to moisturizing is exfoliating! Plus, when you start with a smooth surface your lipstick will last longer.
DIY Lavender Vanilla Lip Scrub
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of grapeseed oil
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
- 10 drops of lavender
The Epoch Lavender is the best I’ve tried. You can buy a bottle of lavender almost anywhere these days but most don’t come close to the great quality of this. (We have a really great deal going on for lavender plus a diffuser – see below.)
This lip scrub is really simple to make, just mix the ingredients together and put it in a small lip balm container. You’ll make about 3 small jars full. Use a small dab to scrub onto your lips and then rinse off, repeating about once a week. Top it off with our 5 minute lip balm and your lips will feel amazing!
