In December 2016, Health Affairs journal published its first-ever theme issue dedicated to oral health. Papers examined the topic from many angles, including how to expand access to care, how to diversify the oral health workforce, and how to improve public programs to accomplish both.
For the third time this year, Health Affairs is taking its health policy programming to California, where we will host a May 17 event examining the current landscape of oral health in the state. The program will highlight key articles from our theme issue, and pay particular attention to the oral health safety net for California's adults.
