Our homemade Cinnamon Sugar is delicious sprinkled over buttered toast, fruit, warm apples and oats, or cereal. Many grocery stores sell it, but making it at home is easy, frugal, and fun. Here’s what to do!
Of course you will only need two ingredients—cinnamon and sugar! This recipe is simple enough for kids to make independently, making it perfect for busy moms.
DIY Cinnamon Sugar
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 TBSP cinnamon
Blend the cinnamon and sugar in a medium sized bowl.
Mix well, then pour into a shaker jar.
Cinnamon sugar toast, orange juice, and fresh fruit is an easy breakfast or snack for busy families!
Cinnamon Sugar will store indefinitely. If your shaker jar does not have a cap, simple wrap a small piece of plastic wrap over it.
Variation: Use Vanilla Sugar for rich flavor!
