DIY Snowy Slime

Snowy Slime

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of SanDisk. The opinions and text are all mine.

The winter months are finally here! We are celebrating with a DIY snowy slime recipe!

In addition to this incredibly fun slime recipe, we are partnering with SanDisk to show parents how they can capture memories with their kids with little to no effort!

Snowy Slime

Easy Slime Recipe

Would you believe me if I told you that this was our first time to make slime!?

I know, I know, we are super behind on all the fun.

After surfing the store aisles looking at all the confetti and glitter we could use to decorate our slime we decided to grab some silver, blue, and white glitter to make snowy storm like slime!

I didn't realize how easy it is to make slime! Just a few ingredients and about 10 minutes of our time and we had slime slipping and sliding through our hands!

My daughter is 3 and I love doing easy projects like this with her at home. I know that one day soon she will be grown up and won't have the time to spend a silly afternoon making slime with her mom.

Because of how fast time seems to fly by, I always try and make sure that I am capturing these memories in photos that I can look back on in 20 years. My worst fear is breaking or losing my phone that is full of these photos.

I recently got a SanDisk iXpand Base and it is a game changer. Each night I plug my phone into the SanDisk iXpand Base to charge and it automatically backs up all of my photos.

I love using it mainly because I don't have to take the extra time to back up photos or pay extra money for storage space online. The base has a removable memory card in the back too so if you want to print the photos or eventually transfer them to your computer you can.

It is literally just sitting on my nightstand next to my bed and that is what I use to charge my phone each night. SO convenient.

DIY Snowy Slime Recipe

Like I mentioned earlier, this slime was super easy to make. It is definitely beginner slime maker friendly.

Snowy Slime

My daughter is only three and she helped me pour in the ingredients and everything so this is a DIY that really any age can participate in.

Ingredients:

¼ cup liquid starch

2 bottles clear glue

1 bottle white glue

Blue, white, and silver glitter

Foil snowflake confetti (optional)

First we poured in the clear glues then the white glue. Second, we added our favorite glitter. Then we poured the liquid starch in and began to stir the mixture.

After stirring and kneading until we got the desired texture we played!!

My daughter loved it and played for hours with it outside. When she was done using her hands to play in it she was mixing it around with sticks and rocks from outside. SO FUN!
